🦋 The Art of Crafting Unignorable Email Subject Lines

Are your emails getting lost in your subscriber's crowded inboxes?

Hey — It's Pankaj, your fellow marketing fan.

This is the 6th edition of The Checkout Experience!

Today, we're diving into the art of crafting email subject lines.

On average, a person receives 121 emails per day. Your email subject lines can decide whether people open it or it ends up lost within those emails.

Reading time — 1 minute

Studies have shown that 47% of recipients open emails based on the subject line alone. A captivating subject line grabs attention, creates curiosity, and entices your subscribers to open your email.

3 tips to improve your subject lines

1 — Use emojis. 🔥

Fun Fact: Subject lines with emojis can increase open rates by up to 56%.

Emojis add personality to your subject lines, making them stand out.

Personally, most of the emails (from other newsletters) that I open have some emojis in their subject lines.

2 — Call your audience by name.

When you receive an email that feels like it was made just for you, it catches your attention and makes you more interested.

Include your subscriber's name or interests in the subject line to make it feel tailored to their needs.
